I'll definately have to add weight to compete next year. I took off alot more "physical" weight on the car in the past weeks. I'm well under 4000lbs now. If i ever get it back on the road again im going to go to the local scales to see just how well ive shed the lbs. And also workin on a secret weapon. I need to get a GM ECU to control it and tune it though with my JET tuner. It has to do with electrogravitics on the stealth.
In my book, to go faster, you can put a bigger engine in, reduce friction/rolling weight resistance, or you can take weight out of the wagon youre pulling which is alot cheaper than going the engine route.

There will be no sandbagging on the Blue Flame, Jeff. We'll be concentrating not so much on the ET but with good lights and dial-ins. If I find myself in a position to hit the brakes, I may lift, but it won't be sandbagging!
