How many pipe cleaners did you go through Billy? :D
Thanks guys, I'm guessing you mean pipe cleaners to clean the wheels?:)

Actually I posted that to show that even my car can have backwards wheels, but no one noticed.

I did that on purpose though, I was testing for radial pull, which I proved that tire has big time. I'll post about that in the tire section.

Yes a flat head V8 but be more precise
And no its not a manifold on top if you look about 2 inches down from the top left you can see the parting line where the manifold starts.

That is a McCullugh (spelling is probably wrong) cetrifugal supercharger atop that Flathead. The carb bolts to the top surface and is draw-through in nature.

Very close
It is a Schwitzer-Cummins centrifugal supercharger
(Louis Schweitzer won the first race at Indianapolis motor speedway.)
The motor is Lycoming V8 from a 1937 cord.
The supercharger was a factory option bumping HP to around 200.
This is a 1937 cord, 812, non supercharged
I took this pic at a concourse show.

Thanks for the clarification on the supercharger. I knew it was a centrifugal of some type, and have a passing knowledge of the earlier stuff. Schwitzer also did turbocharger work for various companies, as I have had one of their OEM units pass through my hands at one time.
