Tony I just wanted to say those Moog bushings went on perfect...we'll see how they like the road before too long.I guess I'll go with KYB struts for now.I got interior decorating to do before I sink the green in her...man have a good one
I can't find a article that I thought I read by KSTROMBERG about using the super coupe coils springs all the way around. The suspension part on any vehicle is not my best area, but what I thought I understood by trying to cross reference is about a inch difference on the car.I f I go with regular...
I want to thank everyone for the input on helping me with my Lincoln as I'm new too working on this Bred ,and I wanted to give some feedback on After Market Bushings.I went with The Moog Thermo plastc for the likeness of the poly's and what I found with the Moog kit is the sleeve is about an 1/8...
Thanks to everyone on the bushing removal and placement .I did have to use a big a*** pry bar,I ordered the moog bushings and it seems everything is correct. The inner sleeves had been mushroomed and no chance to reuse them..more on this latter
I can of figured they we're gonna be tough. Thanks for the website. And I'm sorry 98 mark but I used Moog Thermo plastic this round.Where I live is on the state line of Ky and Tn and we have a lot of curvy roads and I like a nimble suspension.I've always been more into Mustangs ,Camaro's and...
I'm finally getting a chance to work on my Mark VIII and the front is basically all disassembled .My problem is how do you get the front strut rod bushings out of the frame...in easy way ?
Beerdog I after looking through a lot of companies and cost I'm thinking to go a head with KYB for now to at least get this car rolling. If you've heard anything wrong with them please let me know
Thank You Beerdog...yeah the mixed results of the ride quality is my issue and I'm thinking I may build a unit with after market parts .I almost went with the Strut Master until I heard someone say they only got like 20,000 miles off it.And would like to ask the gentleman in one article why he...
Mr Brooklyn I have looked all through the Lincoln discussions involving conversions and could not find a gentleman by the name of Kirk, and I did do a lil reading on a couple of things you said and one that really caught my attention is using a heavier rear sway link for the rear out of a Crown...
Thank you I will look into that. I also looked at and talked to Strut Master and Arnott and wasn't really satisfied. Glad I got on here .I'll post pics a lil letter. Uhhhh your car kinda looks like mine
I guess maybe the main reason for conversion is maybe too many reason for something to go wrong. If it was a new car under warranty I'd say yes but I would like the car to have some creature features but..im just saying maybe cause I was raised with the OG way
I recently bought a conversion kit through a company called Unity and it was a bad experience from they time i seen the box show up. I know there's reliable and quality companies out their, but my question is and I've heard from a few individuals on the street that stock parts from a non air...
