I bought it a month ago because the body shop messed up the original. We installed the glass first, cut the back half of the trim off, then epoxied the trim in around the glass. I'll post a pic next week. It looks perfect. :)

I have just decided that this is my goal. Time to start saving for 2017.....:cool:

If you want to turn this platform into a track car, start with a t-bird. You will never get a Mark VIII into that weight class. There is foam and sound deadening in places you will never reach....

95blklsc has the right idea. I'm a military generator mechanic. Many of our gens are still in great shape when we auction them off. Some of them, not so much. :D

I'm sorry for the delayed responses. I headed down to Florida for a few weeks to visit family. I'll be back this weekend. No takers on the 97 part 2. lol. I'll check it out for you when I get back. No electrical book. Sorry. The only book with dibs on it is the 94 electrical book.

Doug had the right idea. I brought a whole bunch of parts with me to Carlisle so I could save the hassle of shipping it all. I'm down to a couple months before the movers pack my stuff for England!!! For those of you who made it out, I'll be selling it all very cheap. Mostly headlights and tail...

Thanks to a body shop failure, my prep included packing my headlight/tail light collection into the beater and driving 3 hours. :D

Just got into the room at Comfort Inn. What's everyone up to? A big change of plans. My Mark is stilll in the body shop. I have arived in a $1000 Volvo. :( But I'm here!!! Room 203 for those of you in the same hotel. :cool:

I stopped by today and they were finishing up the clear coat. It's going to cure overnight and then they will put most of it together tomorrow morning. I'm hoping to have it by lunch and finish putting it together. I painted the headlight and tail light trim today. They came out pretty damn good...

There was one on ebay yesterday too. Might still be there....

Mine is supposed to be getting the first coat of paint tomorrow morning. The bumpers and trim are almost done already. I'm repainting the tail lights and headlight trim on my own, so pics will be up in the next couple days. They have promised to have it done in time for this coming weekend. It...
