have fun gang...post pics and videos please.
Mike S, I can understand your unwilling-to-race heartitude...I became the same way....however, the feeling of regret will try to sway you otherwise as soon as you see all that muscle roll in and hear the whine of the superchargers in the burnout box.
It'll be tough to stay on the sidelines...
before I sold my 98, and knowing I only live 20 minutes from one of this country's best drag strips (Sonoma raceway, at sea level, with mild temperatures, and great track prep,) I was tempted to just head out from time to time and just run it...but when your bank account says "you cannot afford to fix it if you blow it up or break it", I listened.
Your LSC is one of the country's nicest, cleanest and quickest I've ever seen...and to know it's just sitting in the corral will break many-a-heart....but I understand. I've had many race cars and have driven pretty darn quick down the 1320 in them, and won many rounds and events, so to bring a 'street car" to a drag race....especially when it's also your ride home, it's hard to justify the willful abuse.
JP with trailered car is the only way to go these days...logically, that is.
have fun folks.
