I'll start the running list for the Car show Sunday.:)

It was a great show last year, lots of beautiful cars, and they are all different cars, not just Mustangs. Sort of like a mini Carlisle Ford nationals.

Looks like I will be attending the Saturday night get together. My plan is to head south Saturday morning. I will attend the Back To The Bricks show in Flint. Then head down to meet up with the rest of the LOD group, late afternoon. Anyone else planning on attending the BTTB show in Flint?

That's great news. While we're not planning on going that far north, anything is possible with this crowd. We're probably hang out downtown and head back to my place in the afternoon.

FYI... received this info in an email today.

Mustang Memories is now just 3 weeks way and preparations are in full gear. This year we celebrate 50 years of Mustang and the show will be bigger and better than ever before. We'll have special vehicles, special guests, a huge vendor midway, ladies' area, kids' area, and Mustangs, lots and lots of Mustangs. And the goodie bag will be like nothing you've ever seen at a car show, more than worth the price of admission itself. This will be the 50th anniversary celebration to remember. But you only have until August 13th to register and the show is filling up fast so don't miss out on this very special event!

Mustang Memories will be held on Sunday, August 17th at the Ford Product Development Center in Dearborn, Michigan. Please note that this is a new location this year, NOT Ford World Headquarters.
On another note... is the official LOD hotel to be the Fairfield Inn off I-696 @ Orchard Lake Road?

I might have to register for that then ... I just hope the car will be ready :embarrassed:

If you liked that hotel in the past, I see no reason why it should be different. There is also the Farmington Hills hotel I've heard good things about. Equally close too.

Farmington Hills has done some remodeling since last year, and it looks extra nice now. We are already booked there :)

Still trying to decide on doing the show Sunday. We're staying Friday and Saturday nights this year, not Saturday/Sunday like last year ...

Same here. The Mrs. and I plan on driving back home Sunday evening as well but we're planning to attend the show. Not sure when we'll get in Friday since her work schedule will determine when we can leave.

So we have until Aug 13 to prevent register? I saw an older email saying July 27?
Yes, they've changed the deadline. ;)

You MUST pre-regsiter to attend this show. Pre-registration ends at midnight on August 13th!

SIGN UP!

I would really like to try and make it this year, but it all depends on my work schedule.
Time to start cashing in those brownie points. ;)

It seems that all is going to fall into place and as of last night I got the ok from the boss that I can head on out to the Meet. I will not be driving the Mark as it is still in storage and I cannot get to all I have to do in a short amount of time. I have piles of things that I have to do on it and other projects have kept me from getting at it. Next year I will make a trek to one of the meets with the Mark but for this one I will be driving the Magnum.
