2nd Gen hitch

Does anyone have a picture of a 2" receiver on a 2nd Gen? I'm trying to decide if I should go with standard or a hidden hitch concept. I', curious as to what it looks like and how low it is.

I'm getting a 5x8 trailer for my car shows and I want to be able to use Moose in addition to the El Camino for towing.

If it would help I can take a pic of the hitch on my first gen. I use my mark a reasonable amount for towing. With the huge 40kgvw stand alone trans cooler I put on there and the 3.73 gears, it tows pretty good! I've had about three yards of wet mulch in there and it wasn't an issue, although I wish the trailer had brakes, that was a bit much for a stock set up.

Are you sure it isn't a 1 1/4 class II (3500lb) hitch you are talking about? I wasn't aware of a 2" for a mark.

Here's the photos of the hitch - fitment was not 100% to my liking, so, it didn't get bolted up today. The rear bolting holes for the hitch are in the same place as the exhaust hangers are on my car, and the holes are not in a "perfect" position. I have a 5/8" drill bit, so, both holes will be enlarged a bit, and that should allow for proper fitment. I will also need a couple of longer bolts for the exhaust hangers (and in Grade 5 hardware.)

The side holes also a little out of where I'd like them to be, so again, going to slightly enlarge them to the 5/8" and I think it should bolt up perfect. From what I can see, you'll barely be able to tell its installed on the Mark VIII.

I used a Hidden Hitch brand that was for a T-Bird. The shop that did the install had to loosen and lower the mufflers and tailpipes to bolt it in. After it was installed, the mufflers ended up a little lower than stock. That was the only way it would work. It's not much of a difference, maybe an inch lower than stock.
Check link below for a couple picks:

Just had a hitch installed, it's exactly as you describe with the slightly lower exhaust outlets. Worked out well, the receiver isn't visible unless you get down and look for it.
