94 mark 8 tuning question

Does anyone know what size drill bit I need to use or should I just get a trans go shift kit or b and m

I prefer the BE Controls kit my self but allot of others have had good success with buying the drill bits and doing the J mod themselves.

To anyone that doesn't know FORD 8.8 gear ratios they are 3.08 3.27 3.31 3.55 3.73 4.10 this may help choose a gear suited to the way you want you set up. One more thing you may want to know a one piece driveshaft is recommended . There are vendors here that sell them or if you can find a 93 MARK driveshaft it would work because that is the only year Lincoln made a one piece driveshaft for the MARKS .
