Thanks that would be kewl but be better if you show up and see what yours run too
I agree, I'm trying my best to get there. An old timer at work already has it requested off. I've offered to do his ****ty work for the next month if hes willing/able to switch his plans. The ball is in his court now. Should know something this week.

<< ......you or J should stop by and grab my rear rubbers..... >>

QUE, QUE, WHAT????!!!!
I guess I should have used bettet/different words lmao. For the record I was referring to a set of drag radials lol.

Tim, your cat has to be there. Unless JP brings the blue one, I doubt there will another 8 that can put up a good fight against this car. I am behind on my summer projects due to some issues, or otherwise it would be game on.

Any thoughts on the Energy Suspension spindle/control arm bushings?
Dan, tbird guys have been running these for years. There is nothing really wrong with them from the start, but as the suspension takes a beating (especially with the shock load of manual trans),
the poly bushings compress a bit, and give a bit of play. Delrin is the ultimate material, but poly will work for a limited time as well.

I better get busy. :D
I knew you needed a little nudge ;)

This car is still kicking azz. Although more parts broken almost daily. 2 week old poly diff bushings. :eek-large:

Hopefully the diff bracing we installed will help keep it together this Friday :love-it:

Sorry. I couldn't make it. :p

I would have totally loved to make this but I've been busy with work. It is a blessing to be employed again though!

Not exactly....custom hand built by the dude who started the thread. Your only options for Marks is kooks or custom. For long tubes, the only option is custom.

also love a good detail thread.I just finally caught up reading most of the threadI know I think mentioned pacesetters for headersyou said they were custom but they had to start from somewhere. I'm curious what kind of headers did you end up using? Yeah I know cooks R off the shelf but if you stay 3 inch from the collector to whatever crossover pipe you have before reducing the two and a half you basically have a long tube. That's what I did on my black on black went 3 inch from the collectors A as a down tube 2 X pipe and two and a half inch the rest of the way.love to see this kind of work going in basically the same things I was at evening before all my setbacks but now I'm back on the road looking for the low 12

Ive been reading books on the 4.6l motor and they all agree that with the 4v heads 1 3/4" primaries on on headersand 3" exhaust show signifigant gains even in n/a motors over 2.5" with no loss of low end torque. You would obly see a loss with a carburated setup due to vaccuum loss with low backpressure. Fuel injected motors are not affected the same. Im going 3" all the way this time.

I believe this to be correct. Jeremi started out with a couple sets of "mustang" headers from different manufacturers, and experimented with modification to fit the Mark.
