On Work Release
I get 20 MPG on Hwy and about 10 around town, cause I love the "whine". Bad right foot!!! That's by the tried and true miles over gallons, as the indash setup don't compute.

Me too. Mine was calculated the old fashioned way - by actual miles/gallons used at the pump during a 600 mile interstate trip. The car was packed with 4 adults, with luggage, and the a/c on during the summer. So, I suspect I might be somewhere in the 20's under normal interstate conditions - just me, and no luggage. :)

10 years later... The Mark has finally worn out the EBC red stuff brake pads from the original build. Scheduled to drop it off at Aric's shop on Monday for a brake job. Car has 127,035 miles on it now, and still kicking ass and taking names. :cool-blue:

ha! That's about as much of a "glowing" endorsement as you can get.

I wondered what was up when I saw an update to this thread. :) You know you've got a winner when it's only routine maintenance items that come up.

Never saw this thread. Had time today at work since we had a propane leak in the warehouse that filled the office. Was getting some fresh air when I saw this thread. Extremely disappointed the pic links are broken. Extremely impressed with the quality of that car and its reliability. Kudos.

So I get a call from Ryan @ Injected the other day, and he said I do not need a brake job yet. I have 60% pad remaining on the fronts. Rotors and suspension look great too.

I guess the front Pirelli PZero Nero's purchased in 2010 might need to be balanced or replaced. They still look like new with plenty of tread, but the car feels like it has flat spots or something not rolling true now.

Does not feel like wheel bearings though. Might try to get all 4 tires balanced and see if that helps.
