Blurry rear window

The view out of my rear window is quite blurry. There's no tint on the window, but there is a plastic film containing the radio antenna and rear window defogger on the inside, and it appears that this film is the cause. Is this a stock arrangement? Has anyone else encountered this issue and, if so, can this film be replaced?

I remember there being a repair kit for the defroster grid but that's it. If the substate film is the issue, the only cure would be to replace the entire glass. They are still available but getting more difficult to find.

I never heard of such a delamination happening. Can you try to peal it off?

Try GENTLY cleaning the inside of the window with a mixture of Dawn dishwashing detergent and water applied using a Mr. Clean Magic Eraser. GENTLY (no pressure) wipe the inside and see if that helps.

Thanks all for your replies. I tried cleaning the window with Dawn and Mr. Clean's eraser, but it's not significantly better. It appears that there are tiny ripples in the substrate for the defogger/antenna. I don't see any edges of the film to pick at to peel it off. I'll stop by a window shop and see what they say.
