Good luck with the sale, who ever gets it will be getting a very nice ride. The red font is a bit hard to read, may want to edit it.

Thanks for the suggestion Steve, I didn't know how to change the color other than re-do it and now I don't know how to get the first red post off. Any mods, go for it, please and leave the white print. Thanks for bearing with me, Donna

I'm not sure how you could ever put a price on that car. A perfectly done right that I couldn't see going for any less that 15k.

Good luck with the sale, Donna.

All the mods done to this car can all be found on Lincolns of Distinction.
Links can be found and added if needed.
k-member has been modified to fit the Canton oil pan.
The car also has a tune wrote by Doug after spending time Data logging.

You might want to talk to a few members to put a price on it.

Good Luck with the sale Donna.

If I had the money it would be mine and babied forever! Hopefully whoever buys it will take extreme care of it. Thanks for posting Donna!

This car is a legend. It should command top dollar. definetly talk to few people to get an idea of market value. All the work he did would cost a ton if you paid someone.

Agreed, I wish I could pay top dollar. Close I am with the force, but not that rich.

FYI... a quick search will price a 98 LSC w/ 63K around $4500. I can easily see twice that value considering all the mods that have been done IMHO. ;)

If i may, this needs to be posted on LVC. There is a boat load of traffic over there.

I would love to buy this car but funds are, go figure, limited to 4 figures :(

$9999 is 4 figures.
Touché, but there would be other funds involved to actually get to me and convert from drag strip racer to highway cruiser. Unless someone wants to convert gears and stall converter before I buy, cause I sure as fock can't. Then the tune;would lose Doug's tune. I don't need another race car mark.

There is not really more M8 traffic over there. They simply have all their M8 posts collected in one folder where as LOD has it spread amongst many folders. Doug was active everywhere. I am sure everyone is becoming aware the car is for sale.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but would a change of gears really have that great an effect on the tune?

The 4.10 gears and 3600 stall converter does not necessarily make the car a "race car".
Pssh.....whateva, what else has Doug done to the car???? Changing those two items would get better fuel economy is all i'm saying. I'd like a car that averages in the high 20's on the highway, not high teens. Slow and smooth off the line and a cruising speed of 80. Now, im definately no freakin expert but isn't dougs car one of the fastest n/a out there in the 1/4 mile? Cause that's what it is designed by Doug for? I've already got a race car. I would convert that to a highway cruiser, not a 1/4 mile racer.

It is not a race car, its a quick street car.
The only thing that a new owner might want to change is the deletes.
Doug clearly stated they didn't affect the cars street manners because of the other mods the car has, so I would believe that.
A car that can do low 13's and pull the mileage it does is a treasure.

I will post it on LVC, more exposure wont hurt.
I will put it on modularfords also.

Taking the term 'race car' too literally. That's funny. Looking for a cruiser, not a geared up 1/4 mile racer.
What would changing the deletes do? Emmissions? Don't have to worry about that for Mass registration. Please educate me.
What's better for Fuel Economy? 410's or 327's?
3600RMP Stall Converter - how does this affect fuel economy?
I have some money set aside and would love this car. But I need to add in the work $ required to modify the car to a highway cruiser, then there is also transportation, insurance, the list goes on. I gave my best offer but alas my budget isn't big enough. I will have to pay someone to make the changes I would like. Really hopeful that someone will pay the $ that is requested and not make any alterations. I would pay that number but then would need to add more $ to get the car I want, which is not gonna happen. Any upgrades are going to Mr Hydes Paint job and exhaust. Just looking for a highway cruiser to get up through the hills of Northeastern Maine.

Thank you
Jeff
