Thanks. Thanks also for being a stand up guy. I hope to see some posts from the new owner. I did meet 2 LOD members tonight. Both were great guys. I even got an invite to go south and see their other cars.

Sorry Paul, but yay? You're still a charter member. And now I can stop thinking about replacing mine.

Sharon, I am kind of surprised that you didn't jump on this car yourself for that reason alone..

I know it's not black, but still.. :D

I'm glad the car stayed in the club. Congrats on the sale!

I was a bit focused on the car sale last night, and then looking at pictures of all the nice cars you and Paul had but did you say you had an AC Cobra?

Yes. I have a Backdraft AC Cobra, and also a 92 Thunderbird Super Coupe. I will shoot you a couple pics.

Tixer, had it been a base model, I think I would have been all over it. I prefer the steering on my car to that of Hubby's or Mark's cars, which are LSCs. Like Paul said, I got my car where he got his, and I've had her since 2001, she's one of the last cars made, and there's a bond between us, no matter how much she is hurting. And we have no funds or time (or even space with the kid still living here) to maintain and insure a 4th car ;).

I have the same bond with mine after 8 years. I knew if I decided to actually buy this that one of the two would have to go in the near future and I don't think i'd be willing to part with Red quite yet. I'm just glad Joe finally came to his senses and bought it so that I didn't have to.

Still had the Neon that I bought from Mark Darrah in '03 on it, still worked great with a Glitch inverter. In May '09 when it was Mark of the month, it had 97k on it, when Joe bought it it only had 101,700 on it. I had put the Mark on CL and made a mistake and said it had 107k on it so Joe was surprised it had 5k less.
