Can anyone give me some insight to what some of the numbers and letters mean on the drivers door tag on my 98 LSC..
I understand the Ext. Pnt: WF is White Pearl, what is Brk: 4 mean??? Also Int.Tr. DY is Light Prairie Tan, then there is TP....PS, don't know that one....
R:6...don't know that one either.....Axle: 34 and last but not least....Tr:U

Thanks for any help. Car was built on June 2 1998 if that helps.

My Specification Book is for the '93 model year so I don't know for sure how much info is pertinent to the '98.

The Vehicle Certification Label is the official name of the door tag. It should list the VIN number, vehicle type, paint codes, body type, trim codes, axle code, transmission code, suspension code as well as district sales office.

The codes that seem to relate from the '93 specs...

R:6 = Radio Type Code (6 = Radio AM/FM/MPX, Electronic Premium Cassette)

TR:U = Transmission Code (not a valid '93 code)

AX:34 = Axle Ratio Code (not a valid '93 code)

Not much help. :(
