Intake manifolds are pretty to remove on the Gen 2. Once you get it out clean those IMRC's really good.
Totally agree!^ That's the BEST way to clean the IMRCs. Considering how bad the IMRCs can get gummed up, I am skeptical that even sea foam will free them up if they are bad enough.

A problem spot that I have noticed on the Gen2s for a vacuum leak is the emissions "tee" that the hard plastic line from the PCV valve is tied into on the driver's side upper manifold. Be sure to check that "tee" and the associated lines. Sometimes it will "dimple" when the car is running from a small pinhole and will return to a somewhat normal shape with the car off when you are checking those lines so it's hard to catch sometimes. Just a thought to add to the others here. It failed on my car and it failed on my buddy's Mark VIII. Both Gen2s BTW.
