I would like to start dismantling this car, and rather than have it slammed on the ground due to no airbags...... does anyone know a good way to support the suspension up with blocks of wood so that I can still move it around the property and up onto a trailer once I am ready to haul off whats left?

I guess inthe rear you could wedge a 4x4 in place of the air spring. Not sur eont he front. Neer tried this. What year is it?

just take a 2x4 and cut it to the size you need and with the strut out of the front put the 2x4 in place and use some screws and washers throughout the mounting holes in the strut tower this will hold the front in place!

another thought might be to use a 4x4. cut a notch in the bottom to fit over thelower control arm. Then run the LCA bolt through the board. This will keep it from moving around. Use screws at the top as stated.

Jeff/SVO welded some steel 2X2 box tube in place of the front stuts and welded casters to the ends.

it worked well for holding the car up, and for moving the shell around.
