Having lived where it gets to 120 degrees, and being stationed in areas that exceed that, it is an obtainable ambient temperature. Lots of outside influences affect thermometers as well. My parents always tell me their weather station said it was 132 degrees, when NWS says 115ish.

At these temperature points, I can tell the difference between 105 and 110 and higher, I guess my comfort level is 102/103 with 40% humidity, either one higher and I complain.

If it was out in the sun I could see it reading that but it was shaded by the tent. Also I am sure you will get temps like that close to the surface of black top that is sitting out in the sun. But it is classified location so maybe it was spot on for that area.

I have my own GARAGE

For the first time in my life, I have my own GARAGE.

It's 2 1/2 cars, and extra deep as well. I will be able to store and work on my car now, any time I want. The car has been in a storage unit since April, when my friend, whose GARAGE I had been storing it, told me to "get that piece of #$%@ out of here".

Here is one side of the inside of the GARAGE. Not sure why they put the workbench on the wrong side of the GARAGE, but it will be moved and will serve until I can install something nicer in my GARAGE.

The other side of the GARAGE, with stuff the previous occupant left. (I had to buy the snowblower). I also got an assortment of tools, such as a pickaxe, BFH, and a Garden Weasel, along with a free beer storage unit that works. The tools will be used to work on landscaping around the GARAGE.

30 amp electrical panel in the GARAGE. I'm not entirely sure the electrical installation is on the up and up. I'll have to hire a professional to take a look, but it will be put to good use.

Side door to the GARAGE. I will use this when entering and exiting the GARAGE when I don't want to use the big GARAGE door. I will also use it when I just want to go look at my car on a whim on a Tuesday morning at 3:25 AM, as well as other times. I get to choose.

A deck to admire the GARAGE from.

The GARAGE came with a free detached house.

So your saying that you got a garage and are happy?

I am so past the stage that I should have a garage. I have a single car carport, 5 cars that need constant work, and unrelenting sun. I likely will die having been garageless.

Congratulations, Mark!! Finished (and hopefully insulated) walls, too.. that's a great find.

I hope the house is at least half that nice.. :D

We now have a "cruise destination" for this weekend!

His setup is perfect for a meet. The back yard, garage, and deck all flow together. Plus the driveway is long. And a parking lot, school, and park across the street. Next year.

And a large friday night cruise night every friday about 2 minutes away.

I seriously didn't even take a picture of the outside of the house lol. But here's a Google street view from a few years ago. Also it has a full finished basement with two extra bedrooms, a family room and wetbar.

Truth be told, it's a rental, but I'm still excited. I have this coming week to get moved in before the meet. Today I move the car and my other three storage units in, then Wednesday I have movers for the big move. It's gonna be a very short week I think.

Another freebie from the previous tenants. It's old but it works and is HD so I said I'd take it.

Damn. the place looks great.

Don't show too many more photos, or you'll end up hosting for sure... :D

Although I wouldn't be opposed to being a bed and breakfast for attendees. Not this year though unless someone wants to sleep on the couch. I only have the one bed.

Nice shop Mark, something to be said about having your own workspace.

That other building is for completing winter projects that won't fit in you garage.

You suddenly have me wondering if the Mark will fit through the french doors, and into in my living room...
