I like that. I bet the "excursions" were more fun on yours..This was my "cruise" ship for over 5 years.
A 5-day cruise would have been a lot nicer though! lol. 3-1/2 deployments and countless "work-up" cruises in my 5 years...I like that. I bet the "excursions" were more fun on yours..
I toured the Midway a few weeks ago. it's been on my "to-do" list for years, and was totally worth it.
Lol, yeah, this is what I had to work with, on top of 90 to 95-degree sleeping temperatures! :err-what?:Thank you for your service my brother in arms but I bet it would have been a little more comfortable with these sleeping quarters
What a beautiful car!I've got a few pics and and they're a little bit old but i've got a story here.
First this is from sunday, Some people needed a house torn down and instead of paying a construction company to tear it down it was offered to the fire department and was decided to be used as part of a training exercise. We get there and it's not really too bad for an abandoned building, I mean I didn't feel like i was gonna fall through the floor like some other places but it was noticabally let go. Basically just controlled the fire and let the thing burn
These two are older. Nobody in my family's given me the complete story on how we got this car but it was my dads car, bought it running and driving with plans to make it nicer and restore it. Never seemed to happen so it got passed to my older brother to fix, he did alot on restoring the drivetrain and it seems to be back together but it's been sitting for a few years since he started a family. Since he has little time or money for it I'm gonna start on it. Right now needs Power steering, finishing disc brake conversion, few brackets for the lines and an investigation of blowby and cracked block to get running solid. Interiors about halfway there has a hole in the floor. Exterior needs paint and a few patches on the quarters
Don't know how long this is gonna take me
That's what I thought as well.What a beautiful car!
It looks like a 1962 Thunderbird, a Rocket Bird, what a cool automobile!

Ford Thunderbird (fourth generation) A black 1964 convertible later had a major role in the TV series Highlander: The Series as protagonist Duncan Macleod’s main mode of transportation. But we must require that you keep us updated on the progress, too.
Pretty sure that's the same car Duncan MacLeod drives. That's right, Kids. Two "Highlander" references in as many days..
