Yes it sure is the ship has 13 decks it was nice to feel the sun on my skin again. The month of January in Chicago has been dismal with cloud cover 70% of the month the temp in the Bahamas was 82 degrees and sunny.

Thank you for your service my brother in arms but I bet it would have been a little more comfortable with these sleeping quarters

I like that. I bet the "excursions" were more fun on yours..

I toured the Midway a few weeks ago. it's been on my "to-do" list for years, and was totally worth it.
A 5-day cruise would have been a lot nicer though! lol. 3-1/2 deployments and countless "work-up" cruises in my 5 years...

Lol, yeah, this is what I had to work with, on top of 90 to 95-degree sleeping temperatures! :err-what?:

"Someone asked the question "what would you do if you found a scorpion in your tent?" to members of different branches of the military, and these are the responses he got.

Army said, "I'd step on it."

The Marine said, "I would crush it with the heel of my boot."

The Ranger said, "I'd smash its head, cut off its tail and eat it."

Then Air Force said, "I would call room service, tell them to take it away, then ask why there is a tent in my hotel room."

I've got a few pics and and they're a little bit old but i've got a story here.

First this is from sunday, Some people needed a house torn down and instead of paying a construction company to tear it down it was offered to the fire department and was decided to be used as part of a training exercise. We get there and it's not really too bad for an abandoned building, I mean I didn't feel like i was gonna fall through the floor like some other places but it was noticabally let go. Basically just controlled the fire and let the thing burn

These two are older. Nobody in my family's given me the complete story on how we got this car but it was my dads car, bought it running and driving with plans to make it nicer and restore it. Never seemed to happen so it got passed to my older brother to fix, he did alot on restoring the drivetrain and it seems to be back together but it's been sitting for a few years since he started a family. Since he has little time or money for it I'm gonna start on it. Right now needs Power steering, finishing disc brake conversion, few brackets for the lines and an investigation of blowby and cracked block to get running solid. Interiors about halfway there has a hole in the floor. Exterior needs paint and a few patches on the quarters

Don't know how long this is gonna take me

What a beautiful car!

It looks like a 1962 Thunderbird, a Rocket Bird, what a cool automobile!

Squarebirds dot org would love to help you with that.
But we must require that you keep us updated on the progress, too.

Pretty sure that's the same car Duncan MacLeod drives. That's right, Kids. Two "Highlander" references in as many days..

Ford Thunderbird (fourth generation) A black 1964 convertible later had a major role in the TV series Highlander: The Series as protagonist Duncan Macleod’s main mode of transportation.

For a while, it was all on Amazon Prime video for free. Don't know if it still is or not, but it's one heck of a commitment. Like 20 episodes / season or something.

And yes, I re-watched every single one :D

Ill try my best. Once the supercoupe is out of the garage im gonna use that area as a paint booth for some of the parts. Once i get it driveable i plan on working on it while im at the station.

For the cracked block i wouldnsee things like milky oil and oil in the res right? Not sure on how much blowby or if any is going on right now, doesnt get started often and the exhaust is barely bolted on so i figure were gonna need a little driving before anything is determined

I think you're missing something Luke.

Stopped in to Ft. Knox today. Wanted to see what General Patton was driving. A Cadillac and a few tanks.
