Please excuse the rust up top and all the dirt on it. Overall it came out decent, once it got as dirty as the rest of the car it's not noticable at all. Gonna wetsand it whenever i get the whole car clean and take care of the stuff above it a little later on

View attachment 13750Going to take my little guy for a ride. Mother nature's been good to CT so far this year.
That thing is great. it/was it a Craftsman? I was recently helping a friend clean out a garage and found one that looked a heck of a lot like that that was "broken." compression was good, but a couple tugs couldn't get it to fire. Not needing one myself, I gave it to a friend. The thing was a beast. Chain drive, no safety everywhere.. I loved it. If he won't/can't fix it, I may demand it be returned to me.. :)

That's an ariens min 70's. Belt drive. A guy gave it to me 10 years ago, because the shop couldn't fix it twice, just a broken roll pin I tore it down, refurbished it, and it's been good since. This year it came to me back then they used leaded gas. Put some lead stuff in it, and it seems to run better. note; most snow blowers don't have an air filter.

So what work is about to be done that required pulling the hood? Still dealing with IRMC issues?
I'm still getting the P1519 code but did a little bit of work to the module to see if that would help or maybe the code has to do with the tune. Wondering if there's a fuse or relay related to the runners

Though the runners aren't the real reason i went in there, did the valve cover gaskets and all that stuff under there, wasn't able to jack up the motor mount so wiper tray came out

Got a new toy for my birthday. My parents just don't get I like instant gratification, and anything that takes longer than 15 minutes I will check it, turn it, screw it up. But it might be a learning tool.

Did a tri-tip with a red white marinade and mesquite pellets, over cooked it, but it was still edible. Second was some coffee marinade beef jerky. Like how it turned out, except I was a little inconsistent with my slice sizes so had to take the thinner stuff off, and leave some of the thicker stuff on.

Nice smoking. Tri tip is tough to get right. It goes from perfect to leather fast. Once you nail it though it is awesome cut to master.

I have to remember that some grilling and BBQing, a lot of smoke means that something bad is happening. I still grill on gas because of the ease and quickness, I do some things on charcoal with some lump mesquite charcoal mixed in, but can't wait to do more smoking and bbq on the pellet smoker.
