Pullied 3 - Another total makeover

Another winter is coming to MI, so it's time for another long term project.
Following the thread from User's Rides, here's the 1996 Lincoln Mark VIII LSC Black/Lt Graphite Gray.

The plans for this car are still up in the air as to what it will end up like.
So far, following advice from Keith at INC, I might try and buid a Pro-Touring Mark VIII on a budget ;)

The car has sat most of its life (only 80k total miles), and despite being cared for (very clean exterior and interior), some areas need touching up.
This is the plan for next couple of weeks, so nothing really exciting will be happening at first ;)

Few before pictures :)

*how it sat last few years
*black betty coming home ;)
*waiting its turn in the driveway after delivery
*couple shots after Keith at IceNineCustoms brought the paint back to life

I wish I had lots more green paper with dead guys pictures on them so I could give some to Jeremi for something similar to mine. My underside isn't bad but it would be great to have it gleaming with chassis paint.

I'm tuning in so I don't miss a thing!

Which is the exact reason you should do it to extend its life. They're are not getting younger you know ;)

that is one good looking car. 1st gen black on black lsc. mmmmm, perfect.
What makes is perfect (IMO) is that it's not all black. This car has a light gray interior. 1st gen black or any 93-97 ebony black is not my thing.

I wanted it back the second it left my sight:frown:
Just say the word

Your garage always looks clean and organized
The only way to stay somewhat sane in there ;)

Few coats of chassis paint, like it should've been from the factory. Working on the firewall -> back section for now.
Hmm, this looks oddly familiar... except for the excess rust. ;)

What did you use for the chassis paint? The semi gloss looks so much better.

WOW amazing! Can't wait to see the finished product!

Makes me want to install my lift before the proposed garage expansion... My Mark is a little worse than that underneath but pretty damn clean for a salt belt car. Unfortunately my SC has "factory" undercoating... YUCK

Do you mean lack of it ? :)

It's some kind of industrial trailer coating I've got my a buddy of mine.

Yeah, there is no such thing as "factory" undercoating ... I think it was a dealer or aftermarket stuff. I hate that crap.
