haha I was thinking exact same thing, but that thing is cool as heck. I'd leave it red even though id never see the thing with hand on top of shifter. Cool mod for the Stang guys or ones lucky enough to be running sticks in the Mark. cool cool.

I was thinking it was a lot of money for a shift knob.

Go do some burnouts and use that money for tires

I don't think it's rice, least not too rice? Idk. I'd does look nice all dark. If the colors include a gray that's what I was thinking. Something to freshen up and modernize the interior. Soon enough ill drop money and get a stereo nav system installed which should also help freshen up the interior. Although, with the 97 door panels the interior is intimately better IMHO than the stock gen 1.
