Rear Window Trim Kit--Replacement

Hello everyone!! I am working on a full replacement Rear Window Trim Repair for the Mark's. I have to purchase a complete rear window for the molding process unless someone has a good window and trim and are close to Atlanta. Also if anyone in the area has a car with torn and ripped trim that we can work with it would be great.
I think its time for a full replacement trim as so many are torn and blistered. The kit will require cutting off you old trim and replacing most of the perimeter. Your thoughts would be appreciated!

The plan is to make it from a harder rubber compound that will not ripple with age and it will have a "T" shape so it inserts in the space between the window and body. I have not had a donor car or one to work with that does not have the trim so I can experiment. Once I return from filming in Miami I plan to find a local car and work with it.

The kit you put on my car at Carlisle a couple of years ago still looks awesome - good as new!

Keep me on the list of potential buyers. Mine looks like it was constructed from lasagna noodles. If you make a good kit and post it on this forum as well as the other Mark VIII forums and the Facebook page, I'm sure you'll get plenty of takers. What's your experience in making such kits? Some of the things people can do on this forum are amazing.

John,

Keep me on the list - my seal was so bad I actually just cut the entire thing off (I thought it would look better... and it does)

I can always test fit - as well - there's nothing there!
