Well guys that dreaded tensioner tick finally gave into my engine failing due to the secondary tensioner coming apart an now its missing and ticking any way to fix it or is it a goner?
"New"? LOLI'm not sure about these new engines . But in the past the cams had a pin that the sprocket would line up with so they could not move.:wink:
Look at the link I posted. There is no degree wheel necessary to align the timing marks on the sprockets and chains. But everything must be aligned precisely without allowing the cams and crank to move from their positions throughout the process....I just really need to know if there is any way of timing these engines without a degree wheel
