I make stuff
Man, I remember when SSHS1 was coming around. I thought, it would be really cool to take my Mark 7 to that!

Every year since then, I've thought, "I'd really like to take (insert whatever car I had at the time) this year." But I've never been able to attend...

This year, I'm saying, "It would be really cool to take the G8 this year," since it's actually pretty fast, but alas, I'm working that weekend. :(

I swear, one of these years, I'll make it to SOME event. I really want to go to Carlisle at least once, and SSHS at least once as well.

Hmm... My recent unemployment has my schedule opened... I'm game. Doubt they'd let my mark down the track with a crap front end. I've never run a car down the 1/4. Legally.

because Mike and Wendy can only handle "me" like once every 10 years... so they haven't reached their 'ready for BadSax again' threshold yet... :D :D :D
lol Now that's not true. Maybe 10 weeks, or months... but not 10 years lol :p.

I'll have you know, I gave you and DTSaxilliac a tip of the hat a week ago Friday. During Marauderville XI, we were at Atlanta Dragway getting ready to race, and the track announcer went on a 5 minute rant about doing burnouts in the pit's, and parking area :cool-blue: , and how that meant a immediate escort off the premises.

You need to make it happen! And it really don't matter if your fast or not when bracket racing. It's all about consistency.

Come anyways and hang out. Or bring the town car and run it! :)

Well thank you for the accolades - it's nice to get some recognition for all the hard work I put into "breaking the rules"... :D

Somewhere JP has that on video :::looks at JP::::

Didn't think about running the tc!

Btw, Mike, are you going to c&o Sunday?
Austin, Sadly, no can do. I will be cruising to the northeast Caribbean - St. Thomas & St. Maartin, for some R&R beginning this weekend.

Tanner Foust would applaud your performance! It truly was poetry in motion!

Damn it, I'm out. Toe probably would have healed enough to even race, but you know what I did without thinking while I was yelling at Hubby over e-mail? I bought Elton John tickets for that night. I have no idea why, he was probably my first musician love, Zepplin I think came 2nd, but I hate crowds. And I got very meh seats because I misread the ticket section.

You and Mike will be missed, Sharon :frown: On the upside, Elton John is going to be awesome!

lol as a matter of fact, I bought 2 tickets for Elton John when he comes to Atlanta on November 16 for Wendy's birthday present :) He is one of her favorites too!

I kinda splurged and found Section 3, row T seats on the ground floor on stub hub. Section 3 is up against the stage, and like 20 rows back at Phillips Arena.

Wow, great seats Mike, more like what I'm used to. Very thoughtful, too! I thought I had Section 1 row 11, but it's section 101, a little back to the side. Maybe safer for me. Venue he's pllaying at looks smaller than yours.

JP, that was gonna be a tough one to pull off anyway, I realize now. Pretty sure that's when the kids go on convention and I need to find pet sitters. And I wasn't even really paying attention (obviously) as I was getting them off ticketmaster, they kept being sold out and then these came up and I really thought it was section 1 and at worst I could re-sell them.

Fine, I am an idiot and cannot read my calendar. EJ for me is Nov. 30, a full month after SSHS. Let me think on this and see what to do. I'm already kinda regretting not doing the MN meet, and to miss Norm would be a horrific thing to do. Oh crap, I forgot, no kids = no pet sitter. Plan still requires work. I still require work.

I switched hotels from the Comfort Suites to the Fairfield Inn. Fairfield has a special (non-refundable) prepay of $76.50 per night rate that saved me almost 20 bucks for the 2 days over Comfort Suites.

The added bonus... Fairfield (Marriott) mattresses are the bomb! None better in my opinion!
