Excellent. As of last Sunday, I have confirmed that both my schedule, and family in the area have the time available. I think I may be considered to be, "in" for this event.

Last year was a blast, and you all should participate. :D

So.. Who else is going?

That's great news, Mike! Are you driving or flying? Either way, it's a win!

Signed up and made reservations! :)
Glad to hear you can make it this year, JP! Have you decided on which Mark to bring yet?

Well, I hear my brother in law just got himself a Jeep Wrangler Rubicon.. so if I fly, maybe he'd let me borrow (read: race) that one.. :D

More than likely though, I'll be driving. I do love driving.. My Mark should be speedier this year though, now that I've got my new fuel pump. I definitely feel it on the road.

So.. Who else is going? Let's make this thing an LOD party, instead of "LOD crashes the Impala party." Not that that wasn't pretty awesome too..

I hope that guy with the Magnum is there again with his large array of southern hospitality.

Sounds good Mike! Like you saw last year, it is a melting pot of devoted fat car enthusiasts. For me, it is more of a family reunion of sorts, since most of the racers have been going to this event every year, for the last decade, like me.

The Impala guys are hard core though, and most of them race in a league called ecirs (East Coast Impala Racing Series) with the final race of their season being the shootout in Atlanta - SSHS.

That's the main reason behind the large number of Impalas at this event.

JP, Looking forward to seeing the Blue Flame kicking some butt

I've got all the respect in the world for the Impala crew. They were a great bunch to hang with. After all, it was one of them who gave me enough zip ties to secure my battery "properly.." :D

This has since been resolved even more properly...

lol Don't get me wrong Mike, the rivalry between brands runs deep with me.

Family or not, I find great satisfaction whacking as many Chevy and Mopars as I can

I want to make some of these trips, I miss everyone, but it's been tough lately. I've had a virus for over 3 weeks now. The Kid moved back in with us at the end of August, and just all kinds of stuff going on.

Seems like a good motivator to get better, and go visit the beautiful southern US for a few days.. :D The kid can watch the house. Or come along and race his mustang.. you know, whichever.. I'll bring the wheel weights from my tractor, we can toss them in his trunk to get him over 4k..

I'm in. Just paid my 75.00 for Pre-Reg to Predator-Racing. Not going to book a hotel room as of yet till it gets closer, If something comes up in schedule i won't be able to have time to go. But as far as I know now, its a go. 2013-04-28_13-59-37_269.jpg
