alot of it had to do with the fact that sales were way down, and the platform was no longer financially viable.

Yeah I know, before I ever got around to getting them put the right way i blew the motor, lol.

Your absolutely correct, alot of folks were moving toward the Hybrid type and "smaller is better" or the complete other way toward the SUV. Im full persuaded however that there is a market for it again, this would be a good time to pitch the idea, but they would probably put one of the "eco boost" V6s in it.

i like that ecoboost 3.5, so i would totally be in favor of that move.
Lincoln could use a 2 door rwd coupe. but the money is in SUVs right now with gas so cheap.

Because over 6 model years, they only produced 126,103 vehicles. The new 2011 Ford Explorer surpassed that in the first 3 months of production.

Think about it $40000 for a car 18 years ago that was a lot of money .

Anthem of the Seas is the name of the ship that was out playing with the storm. I believe Quantum is the sister ship to Anthem. They are RC's new high tech billion dollar boats! :thumbsup:

lol You would think they had that covered... RC has a communications satellite in orbit for this ship. RC claims the ship can handle the bandwidth of all other cruise ships in the world combined. Now I can have a working vacation at sea!

Ok guys, thank you for the post, BUT im going to have to put my foot down.

There is no way that anyone should ever put a V6 in a Mark VIII!

EcoBoost sounds like something you find in your laundry detergent! it should be no were near my car!!!

With that being said, i know im going to catch alot a grief for the photos im about to post, but guys keep in mind i really think this should be back in production.

Correct, I used to work for the company that provided communications on the ship.

Oh No, i simply purchased another one. pretty rare rag top, and only 54k on it.
