I went to start my car this morning and it will turn over just fine but will not fire. Doesn't even sound like its trying tof ir. I can hear the fuel pump prime. I was thinking it could be either a bad ECM or a bad Secruity system.

I drove it yesterday at the same time, same amient temp without a hint of a problem. Please let me know your suggestions.

I need this car for tomorrow very badly so I will likely have to tow it to a mechanic if no one can think of anything. I pulled the codes and got either N/A (not sure wtf that should mean) or P0411 [not related, been there forever] didnt get any crank or cam position sensor codes like I was hoping.

If it cranks, it isn't the security system. Did you try unplugging and re-plugging in the crank and cam sensors?

my 95 did the same thing. and unhooking the battery for 3 days did not help it at all. But unplugging the crank shaft position sensor for less than 10 seconds and plugging back in got it started. So far I have not driven the car since then but I have started it about 10 times and so far no problems.

We also have a 95 Cougar that just started doing this too, and unplugging and plugging the same sensor got it started too.

If you look at the crankshaft pulley, the crank sensor is in right about the 9 oclock position OF the crank pulley.

Lower left side of the motor, right at the oil pain rail.

It's easy to unplug and replug, replacing it required moving the AC compressor to the side {without disconnecting the lines)

it's not a hard job.
