Has anyone bought from tread depot? In particular, I'm eyeballing the Cooper RS3-A in 245/50 for 99 bucks a tire...I would love out the door, on the rim pricing. Hate when they throw in all this other stuff after they give you a price.
I'm tempted to buy online but like tixer said, after shipping and balancing you end up close to what you would pay locally. Unless you find a good deal online. I just checked out simpletire.com there are some good prices but never knew there were so many brands. I'm also browsing treaddepot.com, nice deals there too.
Looks like a lot of us go to the same places for tires!
I used tread depot price and had discount tires price match. Give that a shot.Has anyone bought from tread depot? In particular, I'm eyeballing the Cooper RS3-A in 245/50 for 99 bucks a tire...
How not the cheapest are they? I'm willing to put up with a small premium. There's one right by school, so I could get the wheels checked / filled right before any trips to LA or Nor Cal.Costco is not the cheapest for tires but they have life time balance, rotation and road hazarded, as well as free nitrogen fill. And at least the ones by me torque the lugs by hand to manufactures specs.
when i compare them to a place like tire rack they are not the cheapest, even when i add in shipping and mounting and balancing from a local shop i can drop ship too. but if you add in the life time rotation, balancing and road hazarded it woks out nice. I guess it just matters if you want bottom line or the added services. How not the cheapest are they? I'm willing to put up with a small premium.
