RE: Shelby Expedition
[div class="dcquote"]I disagree with that statement. There are certain laws of physics that, try as they might, the german engineers have yet to circumvent. Among these are the laws that relate ultimate cornering ability and handling to the height of your center of gravity. The Cayenne may be badass, but it ain't outrunning a vette in the twisties, unless schumacher is in the cayenne and a retarded monkey is in the vette.

better go read the mags bud. Or better yet, take a trip out to laguna Seca when the Corvette club was out there playing around. fastest 'stock' vehicle on the track was one of the vette owner's Cayenne's.
Direct cut-paste:
"The Turbo also adds adjustable air suspension with Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM), a variable dampening system that uses five accelerometers and electronically controlled adjustable shocks to manage body weight transfer both on and off road."
of course, anytime you compare one vehicle to another, the driver with the most experience will prevail.
But what do you do when you get Tommy kendall out there running laps in a C5, and then clicking off laps in his cayanne Turbo at 2-3 seconds quicker(this was at IRP last summer)?
You are 'almost' correct. But yes, a TT Cayenne will out handle a C5, hands down, all things being equal...oh, and it weighs more too! Kind of sad, dontcha think Dave?
Even if it couldnt take a C5 everytime...just think about what we are comparing. America's top-notch sports/muscle car...against a German SUV.
Thats like the tortoise and the hare...or is it a Boar?
either way...I am sure it will blow the doors off the Shelby Expedit.
American performance technology is still light-years behind the germans.
