Okay, that is it. I work from home = NO commute.
I don't cruise around. Too old for that + they tore down all the good cruise joints and built condos on them. There is no place to really go.
Our town has 2 major supermarkets, a Home Depot, a movie and lots of shopping, but I usually take my business to the town I grew up in as I know wveryone there (unlike here) and THAT town is just 5 miles south - so round trip = 10 miles. About the longest trip is down to see Matt at college (he lives there, too) and that is 104 round trip. When you own a house, there's always crap to be done, so it takes away from any cruzin time.......Life changes.

By the way, these are my favorite foreign cars, in no particular order...

My brother and I own a house too, 3Bd/2Bt and your right, things get somewhat busy.
It would be so different if I lived in a small town though, things would be close by, know everyone around, etc.

I guess you living in a small town explains everything. Man, I love that setting, only problem is cant stand it when everything closes at 7pm. I want to be able to go out at 12-3am and find a few places still open (did someone say Miami?)
Yeah I guess when I get older, I’ll settle down more.

'Ya, around here they are all small towns, but they are so close to one & other. "Outsiders" have no clue! They travel 6 miles in one direction, and have no clue that they went thru 6 towns in so doing !
Here's an example:
To travel from the house I live in with my wife, to the house I grew up in with my folks, is exactly 6 miles. To get there I :--

Leave Bloomfield and enter East Orange, I travel thru East Orange entering Orange, I travel thru Orange and enter West Orange and proceed thru West Orange to South Orange, thru South Orange into Maplewood, where I began life.
Do you think for a moment, an outsider such as yourself would know that to go the 6 miles you'd drive thru 6 miles in 6 towns?? You'd probably think that all the while you were in one town!
Don't even ask how many drug stores, hardware stores, supermarkets, car dealers, dunkin donuts and anything/everything else you could think of I pass! Beauty Parlors, I'd guess over 30 ! So, long travels are usually to visit family & friends only. Heck, NYC is only 35 miles away !

Sending money overseas... that makes sense.

As far as quality, a camry or accord is better quality than a taurus or a malibu.
