Whats the cheapest way to get into the 13's?

Is it A: Gears, DS, and Converter?
B: Giggle Gas
or C: get me an LS1 Camaro/Firebird?

I know its not C, just threw that one in there for kicks and giggles.

BTW, its a 95 M8 base with 136k
 
What would be recommended TC stall, Gear Ratio,and SAFE HP shot on Nitrous?

My motor is mostly stock.
 
Should I get a Chip and JMOD too? I've heard many good things about the two...... and about how much am I looking at total?

PS what level JMOD?
 
Both the SCT chip and a J-mod(or Baumann shift kit) would be excellent choices.

Ballpark prices off the top of my head...

Chip $350
Baumann Shift kit $100
Converter $800
Driveshaft $500
Gears(w/ trac-lok) $500
Dry Nitrous kit $500
 
if you know people you can build a nitrous kit for about $150-$200. i have a few friends that have built a wet nozzle kit for about $200. the shift kit i did the j-mod to mine and i have about $30-$40 in my set up. i found the directions on the TCCOA web site then all you have to buy is gaskets, fliter, a few drill bits, and of corse trans fluid. it would be a good idea to upgrade the 1-2 shift piston also do it now before it breaks so it does not scar the bore up and trash your trans.
 
the cheapest way would be to just spray it.

the best way to the 13's is exhaust, gears, converter, tune, and if gen 2, cobra intake.
