Will the rear shocks from the Thunderbird fit the Lincoln Mark viii?

It's been 5 months already and the air struts been working pretty good. Now the only problem is with the Louisiana roads being so bad I now have to replace the bushings on the rear upper and lower control arms. The car feels really loose from the rear. 😭

It's been almost a month since I replaced the front air struts and compressor and everything been working fine so far. I just had to adjust the sensors to raise the car since I'm currently working in Louisiana and the roads are trash. Car would bottom out on some of the dips on the road.

I installed the replacement strut and the compressor still wouldn't air up the air struts. I decided to remove the compressor and all bolts that hold the cradle where the compressor goes were loose. I also found out that the compressor was from the junk yard because of the markings it had. I...

As soon as the weather clears I'll try to take a picture of the broken solenoid.

I bought the part on Amazon, I just put that I wanted a replacement part and put the reason why and they sent me another strut, and I have 30 days to return the defective one. I didn't want to take off the solenoid to try with the old one because I was afraid it might void the warranty.

I'm suppose to get the replacement air strut tomorrow and if the weather is good I'll install it. Hopefully the replacement doesn't break.

Thanks, I'll try that when I get home after work. So if the line is open the compressor won't blow as much air? Or is it that the compressor is weak. I can plug the line with my finger and stop the air flow.
