picture on the position the od button and release button

I don't have photos, but I remember this being something of an "art" to install. If memory serves, you can look at how the chrome button interfaces with the white plastic bit that slides up into the stalk of the shifter. I feel like everything kind of had to happen "all at once." (you...

    What brand front air struts.

Nicely done. I've been burned by junkyard parts more times than I can count... a story as old as time. or as old as cars, anyway.

    Draining gas tank

I'd guess the concern is that the gas in the tank is old enough that you wouldn't want to subject the pump to what's left of it. How complete is the car? the tank isn't too hard to remove once the exhaust is down and the driveshaft removed... I know to a normal person, that sounds...

    What brand front air struts.

If the photo on that website matches what you receive, it's probably a pretty good kit. The pair depicted for the front are the 97-98 OEM Ford configuration, which is generally considered to be superior. (and also nearly impossible to locate) I'll be interested to see if instead they...

    MKZ Hybrid 12v Battery Discharge

My favorite was the guy I was talking to with the "modern" Continental at a car show last summer who noted that the car's computer occasionally looses track of the door handles, but a reboot fixes it. :)

    MKZ Hybrid 12v Battery Discharge

This sounds like a tricky one to track down. you're right that you'll have to find the right tech. Hopefully they've got a high-tech problem solver on their team!

    Radio wiring

I think you're 100% with that blue/white wire. I feel like all of the Marks had a factory amplifier. I know on my '97, that wire was critical for the amp turn-on. Luckily, if you're using an aftermarket harness, the color codes will be uniform. If the new stereo doesn't have the blue/white...

    Brief Introduction

Welcome! I've owned 1986 and 1999 Town Cars. They were both excellent vehicles, and I want both of them back. :) I continue to see very nice examples out there, but prices are definitely going up here in MN.
