Does anyone have one installed on your car, and how do you get your oil filter in and out. We cant get mine in or out. It will come off the stud, but cant get it out of the engine compartment. Any ideas? We are thinking remote location.

Yes....I love it!

You need to slide it towards the frame and over the top of the front sway bar mount, then in front of it and down underneath the power steering resevior hose. I have to spin my hose clamp around because that was in the way.

Pass on the remote location....you have to get a custom adapter because the lower radiator hose is part of the oil filter adapter.

...and turning the steering wheell all the way (can't remember which way) will help a lot too. Believe it or not, it can be done. I just did it again yesterday and I didn't even have to turn the wheel.

BTW, to keep from dumping 5-30 (or 5w-20) all over your arm and body parts, I ALWAYS use a ramp made out of aluminum foil (heavy duty) and stuff it up under the filter so I can unscrew it MOST of the way and let it run down the ramp into a waste pan. Works really well.

Put the car on ramps rather than stands. The weight pushing up on the wheels moves the bar out of the way.

Because of Jiffylube? LOL

Nope... I never took my mark to those places :p.

The Mark and T bird both have a bit difficult to reach filters... but you don't over tighten them and get a good angle down for your hand they should all be in reach. My corvette filter while easier to "reach" is much more difficult to get out because you can't get your hand around 3/4 of the filter due to the design of the oil pan.

I just send JP the original instructions I downloaded ages ago that were written by Alexander and posted on the original LOD site! Maybe he can get them back up in the FAQ section.

I'll know tomorrow what I think of the addco bars, stock height conversion, edelbrock rear shocks, R1 brakes, and every suspension part known to man. Its stuck on the alignment rack tonight.

purchased the rear sway bar. The rubber mounts don't fit properly around the clips I had to trim mine and use lots of white grease. The oil change is easy, but once in a while I end up denting the side of the filter on the power steering hose clip(really tiny and not noticeable, doubt it effect performance.)

And yes I will buy a digital camera soon to show my Newbie car

Make sure you use spacers on the sway bar brackets or they will break. I got new bolts and added in some washers between the rear frame and the "U" bracket.

the front came with 2 plates for each side. Are you talking about the rear bar?

No, it's the front that needs them.

Also, put an extra set of nuts on the brackets. The bar pulls on them so hard that I've had the nuts back out and the bracket fall off while I was driving. Either that or use red loc-tite.

No body roll at all! NEED MORE TIRE!!!!!!!!!!!! Has a mid line BF Goodrich. Car drives great, on highway it is very smooth. Country roads it rides good, large dips, and cross-roads it is very stiff. Kinda harsh on very abrupt objects....rough R/R, potholes. Very neutral in the center of steering, no push in hards cornering...........leaves 4 wheel skid marks doing 3 center stripe Slalom testing.

Im not sure what so hard about the oil filter.... :D
