2005 South Eastern Pennsylvania Ford Lincoln Mercury Meets

RE: Saturday August 20, 2005 Philadelphia, PA

Some of the guys that I talk to Jack are thinking that thier rides have to be in frame off restored condition.

That just isn't true.

The shows and meets and cruises that you and me hit this year had MANY a "work in progress" or just "my daily car". This show is for the "WORK IN PROGRESS"
20050804-027.jpg

and the "DAILY DRIVER"

and the "FRAME OFF"

The North East Muscle Car Club is cool.

LAST CALL to meet up with us in Philly!! If yer gonna be there, meet up at Tyson and Torresdale Avenues at 8:00 AM.... we're trying to have all the Lincolns park together. I'm almost certain there's a Club Participation Trophy but I'm not sure. That might have been from a different Car Club running a show/cruise. I hope to see some new faces! :+

Every Saturday there is a show (untill some time in October) at the Whiskey Cafe 1050 Wall Street West Lyndhurst, NJ 07071. I have not been there is a few weeks, but he last few times I was there they must have had over 500 cars, plus bikes.

Here is a link to the info and it is easily accessible to anyone in the tri-state area.

Hi Leo ... well, how about this......

How is Edison, NJ as a location? I'm going to throw a post after I get finished with this one on the NELCE site.... This will be the third meet there and it seems a pretty fair meeting point from all directions. I'm thinking Saturday, October 8th, 2005 at 9:00 AM. Breakfast at the Homestyle Buffet ( as usual) and a couple hours of b/s 'ing in the parking lot afterwards. Not a car show but just a meet to bring the season to a close. If that's cool with you or ANYONE ELSE HERE (ALL LOD members are invited...that goes without saying :)) Post up a reply here, at www.nelce.org or shoot me an e-mail at jack@nelce.org. I hope to get to meet ya at least once this year Leo! :)

Jack

Good luck guys, I wish I could bring Moose to some of those shows but Philly is just a bit too far for a day trip. Maybe one halfway closer to NY will come up and we can all meet up then and make a big showing.

I will be at the AACA Museum in Hershey, PA. I seen it on a show on the Speed channel. It looks real nice. I will take lots of photos and post them. Maybe it can be a future spot for an LOD meet.

Can't wait to see them Steve!

Also, let us know if there are any places to feed 10 - 20 people buffet style. Some of us Lincoln Owners are living large, litterally, and love buffets :)

Nice pictures!
The Antique Automobile Club of America Museum would definitely be a good outing for a car club.
Thanks Steve and I'll check the area for buffets too! :)
