4 corners down

Hi guys, it's been a while since I've posted, car has been running great until recently.

A year ago May we replaced the front air bags, compressor, solonoids and o-rings. Yesterday morning I go out to the car to leave for work, and all 4 corners are slammed. Started the car, compressor pumped them up just fine, didn't run any longer than normal. I had to drive quite a bit yesterday, and I was listening for the compressor to run more than normal, but it was fine. This morning, same thing, all 4 corners down. Compressor pumped them up, and throughout my drive to work, it came on at the usual times.

What should I look for? I'm really hoping I don't have to replace air bags again! And if any of you remember me from my previous postings... I'm female who knows little about cars (but willing to try!), and my hubby is overseas, so no help from him.

By "new" do you mean Arnott new?

Cooler weather can cause the car to drop more than normal as the air in the bags cool down at night. But a flat out slam would not result from that. Also odd that all four corners. Each bag has its own solenoid to seal it from the rest of the system. Also it works by pumping up the front then the rear as you may have noticed. So if there is a problem in the front, the rears should never open up and thus not slam.

I don't remember where we got them from, but they were rebuilt ones (although I know not American Air suspension because we waited 6 months for them to get in stock and finally gave up).

This morning I turned my car on, stepped out and watched the front raise, then the rear. It was low enough to begin with that I probably wouldn't have been able to turn the front wheels had it not come up. Looks just like it did last year when it was down, but last year we got the air ride warning. So far now, nothing. I'll try to take pictures tomorrow morning and post them.

Get Eddie's Spider Valve when you can as it takes the moisture out of the system that causes the componrnts to "hang up". Water (moisture) is the enemy of our suspension.
