93-98 driver doors

i have a95 mark viii and want to replace the driver door with one from a 97.my question is will the will my 95 mirror fit the 97.thanks in advance for any help i may receive.

i did not even know the 2nd gen doors would fit on a 1st gen mark?

everything from a gen 1 will fit on a gen 2 either by just bolting it on or doing a little modifying. the doors are exact though, the only difference in the doors is the wiring inside the door. some people have even hung the entire gen 2 nose onto a gen 1. but when it comes down to it almost everything on the cars will interchange.
