FS: 98 lsc with 03 cobra engine south FL

my 98 lsc with 03 cobra engine is up for sale. the car ran well and served me well for a while but i desired a four door and stick shift with room. the car has 80k on it engine has been in the car for about 6k and the motor had under 20k when it was pulled from car for race engine. i have pics i will email if some one want to see it. the pain sucks and the car needs lsc but i dont have time for tlc for it any more. asking 7k for a car that is supercharged and makes great power and torque.

This is a solid deal. Knowing Dan, the car is mechanically sounds. Somebody else can make it pretty. Good deal for the $$$.

i have not driven the car much in the last couple years because of my shoulder surgeries. because the my injuries i have been unable to do allot of car work. the only things i really have done is fabricating and tuning. the car has 373 gears with worn out track lock, 03 cobra motor with 03 cobra headers, it has my solid motor mounts i use to sell. it has stock tranny with stock converter, and after market tranny cooler. the car has 10 lbs upper pulley with metco lower billet pulley and idler. it make 10 pounds when you step on it it may peek 12 on a cold day but i cant watch the boost gauge and drive at same time sideways to see if it peeks. i am running on spring conversion kit with my old cobra R rims. i have 03 cobra rims that have been modified by professional shop with offset drilling and inserts. i prefer to sell the car on the 03 wheels, as the R have been on all of my marks and i don't plan on this being my last one. well i still have my turbo race car but who knows when i can afford to finish that one. the car has not been on the dyno. i have road tuned it only, i was going to dyno it a couple of times but i just did not care that much. the car also has 42 lbs injectors with 90mm maf and dual 255 intake pumps. i used the sct programmer to do a dyno run once and it said over 400 to the tire. honestly the down side of the car is the paint, since i purchased the car the paint was always for me on the crappy side and there where always little things about the car that bothered me. this is why i never went buck wild with it doing the crazy things i wanted to. at one point i had a kennebell blower for it and long tube headers. i sold the blower to some one who later got there car in a magazine with it. his brother is on this board with a fast mark as well. at one point i got a turbo for it and procharger hat for it to bypass blower. i also have a spare 03 cobra motor as well. the car suffered from mark 8 typical problems like the door handle issue i fixed eventually, it suffered from ac cutting out from the wires being looses fixed that. it currently has steering wheel stuck in the forward and down angle. it made it awkward to drive for me but not enough to care. i took the stock seat out and put one race cobrea seat in it. i plan on selling it with out the seat as i have torn the seat some from daily driving it for years. the clear coat sucks on the whole car and needs to be sanded and painted it has rust spots around the back window where the rear glass molding is rotted away. not going to lie i miss driving it, the power and torque comes on so smooth and fast it is great. the car has dual 3" ss exhaust, which sound great. i some times wanted to make it quieter but most people like it loud. i hear a dodge charger last night and instantly missed my car and the rumble. i plan on getting a stock car in the next year when i am done with my other cars and turbo charging one. the real question is to go twin or single, but either way the car would make as much power and run good. oh the car needs a power steering rack or pump it whines when it is cold but usally goes away. if i cant find a buyer on the board i am going to pull the motor and sell it on a pallet. it is hard to people who love marks and want something this crazy.
 
Dude you can get about 6k for a complete running 03 cobra motor pretty much everyday depending on mileage and mods. The roller maybe 750. But I hope you can sell it complete though. I think between you and I, we were the first to put these motors in marks.

And thanks for the exhaust, those pipes were perfect. Too bad the guy I had weld it up was a complete ass and totally screwed up everything.

They need to look at some old Mark 8's to take lessons on how the paint really fades over the fenders.
 
i just shipped my new car from Ohio and it was only 550 i was happy it was not more.

ya i wish i had started with a cleaner car but in the end the car will sell for i feel the value of the motor plus rolling car. ya well if you need more pipes done you need to let me know. i could build another set with every thing on a car local ready to bolt up with no welding. i am not going to lie most shops butcher the install job.
