Has anyone ever heard of the pass. side front seat courtesy light not being installed from the factory??
I have owned 4 97/98 Mark VIII's...one being a Collectors Edition., and never saw one without a light not being installed.
This 98 LSC in question was just bought a few weeks ago from the original owner, never molested with only 18000 miles from new.
I pulled down the plastic cover where the socket should be, thinking it was stuffed under the wiring harness, found nothing. I also removed the glove box liner and found nothing. The build date for this car was June,2 1998....one week before the Collectors were produced.
The only thing I can think is the factory was running out of parts, but my Collectors Edition had the light, go figure.
Can anyone please enlighten me on this confusing problem.
