A couple of things that have me puzzled....

Hi guys;

First on my list of strange occurences is that my wipers come on automatically when I start the car after it has sat in the heat of day (usually humid days). The multifunction switch has been replaced 2x already - the problem usually diminished after replacement, but did not entirely go away. Anybody else experience this problem?

Second is the fact that the car seems to pull harder at part throttle than when the pedal is on the floor. Is this an indication that a sensor is not positioned correctly, or is it an IMRC problem, or ????

Any suggestions would be welcome.

I've not encountered the wiper problem you describe. Sounds like a bad ground or voltage bleed. I would trace and check the harness and connectors, then recheck all grounds for integrity.

The throttle symptom could be a sensor I suppose, the TPS(throttle Position Sensor). Check the throttle cable connections at the throttle body. Pull off the intake tube, examine the throttle plate movement. Assure that the throttle plate is wide open when the throttle pedal is fully depressed. Look for something amiss at the TPS on the throttle body. If you have a vacuum source, you can check the operation of the vacuum motors and IMRCs for smooth operation.
