A visit to Utah and California

I went to Provo, Utah and Fullerton, California for work.

It was great! All the people I met were very nice.

Provo is a beautiful city. It's a valley surrounded by wonderful mountains. I of course, had to try the skiing while I was there, and it was great. Even the drive to the ski mountain was on a beautiful canyon road.

California was great too. The rental car that I got was a Chrysler convertible. It was a very nice car but I'm still not a fan of V6 front wheel drive.

I met Jesse in Santa Monica, and we checked out the pier and the local food. I had the largest Guinness that I ever saw. There's a photo of Jesse comparing it to his little Corona.

The only thing that I didn't care much for was the traffic. They've got more lanes on the surface streets than we do on the expressway driving through Detroit.:)

Thanks again for taking the time to show me around Jesse, it was great meeting you.

Thanks, it's all been work lately.

I had to get out and check out some local sites after hours though.:D
 
a guiness, a corona, and a side of bacon, nice pics bill, work isnt always a bad thing, not when you get to travel. and jesse the bacon comment is a joke, you can take it, your a big boy now lol.
 
Bill are you ever going to get a new camera? Your pics are great but unfortunatly they are fuzzy :(.

Jesse you're such a poser for drinking Corona... (no lime either) Get some real beer next time.

Sooooorry for liking the fact that I remember talking to my friends when they call and not being hung over after drinking, haha. How does drinking a Corona make me a poser? Tell me what REAL beer is, or should I just go back to drinking Steele Reserve?
 
jesse, dont listen to max, i have a fridge door filled with corona, beer is beer, its all real, how do you drink fake beer? corona is great, although i cannot drink it without lime, its like reese's without the peanut butter, its just chocolate, corona without lime isnt corona. max is just jelous because he didnt get to have a beer with the new cop.
 
LMAO, you're probably right! He still hasn't driven that super cool Vette down to Malibu yet. Putts, lol. :D

Men who put fruit in their beer.... well you can figure the rest of that sentence out yourself :p

But I am jealous because I haven't seen Jesse for a while.

Buhahaha you didn't live under a bridge so Steel reserve is not the beer for you... Colt 45 isn't either ugh those are nasty.

Newcastle or Sierra Nevada :)... or even Fat tire is better.

You can't get that drunk off beer... you'd have to do hard liquor to not remember talking to your friends. :p
 
Yeah Max I need a new camera. Some of the fuzzy shots aren't the camera's fault though. The pier shot, I was walking, and the sunset is fuzzy because of that government mandated "Clean Air" you guys have in California.:D

I hope to get a new camera before Carlisle.

I'm not a Corona fan either, and I agree fruit doesn't help it. Every time I tried one it tasted "skunky". Why can't they use brown bottles like most other beers?

I love English ales (especially the cask ales that are hand pumped) and of course Guinness.

My "lawn mowing" beer is Natural Light though, so what do I know?:)
