RE: Adding a one-touch window down for pass. side
It would have to be done in the passenger's door, but it would work. If you were to try to put it in the driver's side, you could short out the circuit by having the module lowering the window while the passenger tries to raise it. In order for that not to happen, place the One Touch Down Module in the passenger's side door.
Make sure you have the five pin connector with the module with the longest leads possible.
Disconnect the battery ground cable.
Mount the unit near the right front window switch.
Cut the White/Black wire from the switch to where it can be spliced to the White/Black wire from the module and do the splice. Use crimp connections if possible. Soldering would be better and then use heat shrinking tubing to insulate the splice.
Splice the Red/Light Blue wire from the switch to the Red/Light Blue wire from the module. Don't just cut them, splice them all together. That's battery voltage in ACC or RUN.
Connect the other end of the cut White/Black wire (which should now go to the motor) to the Red wire from the module.
Splice the yellow wire from the switch to the yellow wire coming from the module. As before do not just cut them, splice them all together.
Connect the Black wire from the module to a good ground.
If you want to check it out before you close up the passenger's door, connect the battery ground connection.
Push down on either switch for the passenger's side window. The window should continue to go down after you release the switch.
By doing it this way, if the passenger decides to reverse the window, you will not have a short circuit. The window will just go up as the button is pressed.
If you are going to do it, let me know how it works out.
