A few of my friends and I plan on heading out to Ubly on October 18. That's up in the thumb. This is actually a good track, so when i run crappy times i won't have an excuse (but i'll make one up anyway). Any and all midwesterners are welcome to come on out and race. We should have at least two thunderchickens and a 12 second fairmont heading out.

Ubly Dragway is located in the thumb area of Michigan, 90 miles north of Detroit on Van Dyke, then east 8 miles on M-46 to M-19, and 20 miles North.

From I-75, exit east on M-46, travel 46 miles to M-19, north on M-19 for 20 miles.

From I-69, travel east to M-53 (Imlay City), go North on M-53 for 25 miles to M-46, go east on M-46 for 8 miles to M-19, north on M-19 for 20 miles.

What's up guys..... nothing much going on over her other than got my passenger door window broken but its fixed and re-tinted again. Speaking of which, welcome to the world of tinted Mark VIIIs Sharon.
I'm not much of a track guy since my Mark is stock, so I won't be making the trip up to the thumb.
Hey Jon, have you noticed a green 1st gen Mark flying around near us, the guy is a nut but he chirps them in 2nd gear and possibly third too. He said its stock and it kept up with the Stang until I hit 90 on Harlem....the guy kept going. The guys nuts.

Actually Manuel... I seen him too !! He is nuts. I was up on Archer and I went to the side of him and He blasted that thing away. We gotta knock him off the road next time and tell him to join up. ;) I'm going hunting, this dude is mine.

Track sounds fun. My birthday is coming up oct,9 lets have a party for me at hooters in downers grove or go to the track. Im hitting 17 so Im like the youngest member, with the nicest mark. They changed my oil and filter in auto shop at school, they all loved my car but they all hated the oil filter.

Well I thought I might post a pic of some of my recent aluminum goodies under the hood. Aluminum spark plug wire boot covers, PS cap, and overflow cap. I also finally finished smoothing my intake tube and added some accel coils. Next on my list are the chrome strip removal and some y2k cobra R rims. Hope to see you all sometime soon. I will try to take a better pic later this week.

Sharon, the tint really held the window in place and I even drove it home and left it like that for a while. So, its not just asthetically pleasing, but functional! hahaha

Brad, I'm not pissed about it, well maybe I was when I first noticed it but I was on the mellow side of pissed since I did have a good time at the club. ;) More happy to see that my car was still there and that nothing was missing. And also that there were no scratches or dings on the body. <-----very important to me.

Probably not, mine was outside of Transit. Near ogden and Lake. I'm not mad anymore....I'm glad it wasn't the windshield or back glass.

Hey Manny,

I was out your way this past weekend looking for trouble but couldn't find anything but some young kid in an Eagle Talon. Drove down Harlem to Archer to Central down to Ogden and back again but nothing to be found. I was kind of depressed. I grew up around that area and use to know the local hangouts but it didn't seem like much was going on. The race with the Talon was funny though. I was driving my Camaro (Yes I still have my Marks) and I let the guy get two car lengths in front of me. I floored it and sent the car sidways in second. I'm not sure if he got scared or what because once the tires finally caught I passed him up like he was parked. Where's the real action at?!
