Alarm Problem

I haven't been able to use the key fob to lock my doors because everytime I do, after about 3-5 minutes the alarm just goes off. Anyone have this problem? Could it be related to my passenger door handle being broken? Thanks.

ha, never thought of that. The car was wrecked and i put a new front end on it, makes complete sense. Thanks!

ok, my alarm doesnt work at all. the light lighst up and stays lit but it wont work if i open the door through the window. could the hood switch be the problem?

Try locking the car with the key, the electric locks or the keyless entry, but leave the hood open and see if the alsrm goes off after about 1 minute. My 2 Mark VIIIs do. Drives me crazy when I have the hood up to charge the battery.
