well, it's official....we're going back!

HISTORY: in 1964 My parents were Married. In 2000 they were both retired, my dad from Chevron and my Mom as a former marriage and family counselor.
Through the years we traveled a lot around the world and I have seen places people dream of. The benefits of two hard working parents.

In 2004 My parents decided to take the entire family, including kids, grandkids, and spouses on an all-inclusive trip to the Caribbean to a resort called
Beaches-Turks and Caicos.
It was the trip of a lifetime...I was in paradise...
You never spend a dime once you're there unless you want off-resort excursions (golf, tours, parasailing, etc)
You cannot tip, you dont pay for food or drinks, and most of the activities are included (scuba, snorkeling tours, water park, gift shop, etc).

I swore before I died, I'd go back...it truly is paradise.

In 2014, they decided to do it again for their 50th anniversary. So we went back...family was larger, people older...but the resort was just as familiar as 10 years earlier. heaven, revisited.
we all decided as a group, as long as Mom and dad were still in good health, we'd do it again in 5 years.

since then, they sold their home and moved to a senior retirement community. Dad has early stages of parkinsons, but is functioning well. Mom is healthy...but dad had a scare a few months ago with blood pressure issues...

They sat us down one night and decided "why wait for a milestone year? lets go now"

so we are booked once again for summer 2018 to return to Beaches Turks and Caicos.

if you have a chance to do one thing on your bucket list and you can afford it....take a trip to one of the Beaches or Sandals resorts...

Go visit their website and look at the photos and amenities....the photos are realistic...the dining is the finest in the world...the weather is perfect (June)
the discounts are amazing (65% off)

the place books up a year in advance so plan early.

The only draw back?

waiting almost a year to go back to a place you dream about all the time!

Do yourself a favor if you go....dont plan anything in advance to "do" once you're there....just get there and decide...all the planning in the world usually ends up wasted once your feet hit the white sand and the ice-cold cocktail touches your lips.

Firs time we did a red-eye to Miami with a 5 hour lay-over....last time we flew SFO to Newark with a 1.5 hour layover....this time we're going to do Miami again....I'd rather sit in an airport for 5 hours waiting for a 1 hour 40 minute flight than rush through international security in newark only to sit cramped on a plane and fly for 5 hours again.

visit Beaches resorts . com and take a peek.

I am truly blessed to have parents that worked their butts off and are treating us again to Heaven on earth.
