Another car flood problem

Not too serious for me but we had some bad flooding this summer, it was on a day that I stopped by my sister's, in Lincoln Park of all places. :D

I thought I'd wait the storm out there, and when it stopped, I'd drive home. While I was there, her road filled up with water.

People were driving through it so it didn't look too deep. I disconnected the front air ride sensors, keyed on, and let the front pump up. to give me a little more freeboard for the intake. :)

I drove home no problem, but the water was very deep in spots.

I didn't notice until a day later that the carpet was wet behind the passenger's seat.

I pulled the carpet out and the shoddy absorber material was fully drenched, but I was lucky, no wire connectors or seat tracks got wet.

A little bit of the dash pad got wet, I dried it with a fan.

There were big puddles of water in the lower quarters, I pulled out the absorber and put my hand in it to show how deep the water was.
