Here's MY Mark......

Got 20-24" here. Her Subaru had a little trouble getting out of the drveway without shoveling it, but eventually made it out. Just finished shoveling the driveway. Made a path to the driveway, mailbox and the mark. In the next couple months, she'll be getting a Navigator, also. (maybe a Denali). Oh, and i shoveled a neighbor's driveway, too. :D

My goodness, when will this stop??? Nat'l Weather Service just issued this for my home county....
THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN STERLING VIRGINIA HAS ISSUED A WINTER STORM WARNING FOR... WHICH IS IN EFFECT FROM NOON TUESDAY TO 7 PM EST WEDNESDAY. THE WINTER STORM WATCH IS NO LONGER IN EFFECT.
* PRECIPITATION TYPE... SNOW.
* ACCUMULATIONS... 10 TO 20 INCHES.

Yipes! Now it says 9-14 inches and 35-40 mph winds!! Glad I don't drive far to work (and VeeDub is great in the snow).

We've got over 12", and blowing, and apparently there was an earthquake west of here early this morning which I slept through.

I'm not going anywhere, don't even know if I can make it to the mailbox.

Candy's having a hard time running through it in the backyard. :)

We're getting a tiny snow shower for about an hour, then it will likely all melt within the next hour. This is what the clouds looked like before the snow fell:

...Joe, you've gotta try a winter out here. Last winter we had one storm. This year we had one, then a couple spurned by El Nino, but that all melted within 2-3 days.

We added another 10 inches - so far - Not over yet. Here's a couple of pretty much the same pics as above with the new snow on top....check out the height of the places on the side where I've had to pile it up.
