Any Browns Fans Out There???

I know, I know stop laughing everyone.....But yes the Cleveland Browns, one of the most respectected ( at one time ) franchises in the history of football..and hopefully tradition will come back once again.

Today....Butch Davis....fired.....hoorah...hoorah, this will not solve all the problems but hopefully get us back on track. Yet again the battered and beaten fans of the Greater Cleveland Area as well as the many fans throughout the country and this world which represent the "Browns Backers" can once again say...."Wait till Next Year" x( (cringe) You see this is a saying all to familier with the Cleveland Browns Fan. From the lack of offensive line for a 20 year period, to the loss of our Browns organization, to the hiring and termination...cough...cough (resignation) of a man who truly does not understand midwest life, and the passion we all have for our team.

So hopefully Browns fans out there...hopefully, we regain some pride in the next few years, again rebuilding this great tradition once more. May we find a new leader that understands the way we live and breath the "Brown and Orange" and fight for the "Steelers .Vs. Browns " rivalry of the past and for the present, and future rivalries to come. May hard nose football come back to this great city and give us a chance to be proud once again.................

I am a Browns fan are there any others here????

You're gonna have to wait until the 12th if you're hoping the Browns are gonna get back on track.

I think we will have to wait a couple of years actually, but hopefully personell positions will be addressed with the right people to deligate, scout, and run the organization back to a resectable franchise.

They should see if they can get Belichick back. That'd be a pretty good start. ;)

No kidding!!!! he got all his experience from here and had it fine tuned when he went over to you guys. Although there have been alot of rumours of Scott Pioli as the G.M. and Charlie Weiss as Head Coach.... Who knows how serious that is though.

I'm not a very big Weiss fan, but I sure as hell hope we don't lose Pioli.

Before anyone makes a comment, Yes the 49ers suck! but there still #1 in my heart and in the record book, 5-0 superbowl record, the best!

I've always been attracted to the Cleveland Browns, there's just something about them that caught my eye as a young lad. If anything I should be a Raider fan since I live in souther California but I can't stand that fake "tough man" image raider fans give off. In my oninion the Browns are the bad asses of the NFL with all the tatoos on their arms and what not. The name is so simple you just got to love it and now that my fav QB, Garcia, plays for them it's even better.

Never been in Ohio but im wit'ya

RE: Any Browns Fans Out There???

I have a lot of family in Cleveland, so if the Browns do well, I'll give 'em their proper respect, but for now, how can I cheer for anyone but the Pats?

Scott, I know you love those Raiders, but where's that screen name pic you always use. I bought a Raider pacifier for my girlfriendsdad, it was so funny when he opened his present.I'd like it if the Eagles could take it all the way.http://memimage.cardomain.com/member_images/4/web/280000-280999/280293_34.jpg[i/]______________________Mark of the Cobra______________________ 94 Mark VIIIDavid J

I've concluded that with the 11-1 Pittsburgh Steelers this year, anything is possible. }(

Sunday night's game with the Jacksonville Jaguars may not have been the most convincing win this season with a score of 17-16, but it certainly was the hardest hitting, brilliantly coached game in the Steelers' win column for years. The amazing part is they really haven't been hitting on ALL cylinders... yet. Injuries, mistakes and penalties abound each game, yet they somehow overcome.

What a gift that game was for Pitt. on Sunday. They were given that joke of a touchdown, and Jacksonville's kicker shanked 2 field goals.

Hey, isn't Pitt. playing the Jets and Bills in the coming weeks? I know they have the Jets next week. Good luck to 'em. The Jets have a good team. I predict Pitt. will finish 13-3 and lose in the first round if they miss the Bye-week.

Don't feel bad Carlo......you could live in New Orleans and be a Saints fan and have a former used car salesman for an owner who runs the team like a used carlot! Shine the "car" up and put a "runs great" sign on it and have the wheels fall off a couple of miles down the road!!!! ::nono:: At least we have LSU and Saban (for now!)!!!!!

Geaux Tigers!!!!!!!

Pretty funny the way you put that Marcia. I hear they are thinking about moving the Saints to L.A.??? And what is up with Aaron Brooks throwing backawards every other game? Oh there are rumors of Saban and the browns hooking up also....Do you hear anything about that where you are?

RE: Any Browns Fans Out There???

I am not a Browns fan, but can feel your pain. I am huge Bears Fan and have been from when I started watching football. Denfese looks good, but offense needs alot of work. Finally had a QB make some good passes against the Vikings for the win, but that's only one game.

That joke of a touchdown needed 'irrefutable' evidence in the challenge to overcome the call on the field. The real officiating joke came with the 'illegal contact' penalty with the receiver when it was a clear 'whiff' that resulted in no contact at all.

And I wouldn't call a missed 60 yard field goal in the closing seconds a 'shank' at any rate. The kicker had enough leg to make it and only went wide right by a very few feet.

I didn't see the whole game, but the evidence that I saw from the replay was irrefutable. I don't know what that ref was smoking, but I'd sure like some of it. I missed the penalty that you're talking about. As for the field goals, they woulda both been gimmes for Adam Vinateiri. ;)

Seriously though, I do give Pittsburg a ton of credit for being where they are at this point. It looks like they found a stud for a quarterback, and they are, and always seem to be a physical team. This doesn't mean that I fear them in the playoffs by any means, but you never know. My bets on the Pats everytime at this point though.

Pro football is the best! You never know from year to year.
