One of the worst things that could happen to a man's car happend to me this past Thursday. The Mark was broken into! I work in the slums of Trenton, NJ, if anyone knows the area they can agree, it is not a safe place to be even with a machine gun. Well around 9AM a colleague of mine heard my alarm going off and looked into the parking lot and saw the Mark's new HID's flashing. He called me right away and I ran outside. The car looked fine until I ran around to the drivers side and saw that the drivers side window was smashed in. As I looked furhter wires and 3 sets of rca cables just hanging out over the wood grain console cover. They stole my Pioneer 8200 radio, found the face plate and did not forget to take the remote. Unbelievable right! Almost as if I have been staked out! There has been 5 or 6 break-ins in our company parking lot in the past year. But the good news about all this is that we are getting survielance camers installed and because there was tint on the window they were able to get a hand print. Hopefully they will be able to find this guy and give him the treastment he deserves.
The reason I ask if anyone works/lives in a bad neighborhood is because I am afraid to replace the radio as for they may be coming back especially because we feel the culpret lives nearby. Any advice will be greatly appreciated.
