Erik, that definitely wins most interesting first post. :)

Did you ever come up with a solution? I had a removable steering wheel on my old 72 chevy truck. It was a security attachment so people couldn't steal my wheel OR my car. It was easy to install too.
 
Have not tried anything yet.I need to get a wheelchair with a better design first and then I will find out about the steering wheel idea.A few months before that post I had got another chair that I had hoped would work out but just not so.That was my fault,just orded the wrong chair.
Now I have to wait another three years if I wait for the insurence to get the chair.Basically I can buy another Mark VIII for the price of a wheelchair.

as for the Mark VIII community...I've pretty much lost interest(in the car). I still dow rk on them from time to time for Tommy, but not as a hobby/passion.

anyway...this is YOUR thread. Great thread it is
